Matcha milk tea by MeganMissfit Matcha milk tea by MeganMissfit
Newest one :) Another one of my favorite flavors, matcha milk tea, in a mason jar ^^ my mom recently went to Japan and brought me back some matcha powder, so I may try and make some of my own at home! I recently found a recipe on how to make your own tapioca balls as well, so I might also give that a shot. How awesome would it be to be able to make your own bubble tea?

And yes that is a little mochi ball :) it is red bean flavored!

I have this very selfish request: I am so in love with your "milk tea" series, they look so delicious that I even created a "Food and Drink" folder in my computer just to save these images. Can you just simply make more artworks like this? Thank you so much :D It really is a weird request but I just like to ask for a chance.
P/S: Plus, the one with the purple background is deleted, I guess? Can you show me where I can get/buy/download that? Thank you :D When I'm out of high school and get a part-time job I'll save money to buy your works :D

Hi! I am amazed with your drawing. Can i get your email? I am looking for someone who can give me a design and also a logo for my milk tea shop. Hope to have a good business with you. Thanks.

1. Your digital artwork here is awesome, it looks great. I like how "blurry" but still clear some parts look. It's nice to look at :)
2. I gotta try this matcha milk tea drink someday, too. I love tea, esp. green tea but haven't tried this out (neither selfmade nor by someone else). But I don't really mean bubble teas, I haven't tried them so far and I'm not that keen on them ;)

Bubble tea is definitely an acquired taste, but it also depends on the shop. A lot of places make their bubble teas from powdered mixes and a lot of times those end up not tasting very good. But some places make their drinks from actual tea+milk and it tastes quite nice (and you could sometimes ask for less sugar if you're not used to super duper sweet teas). A lot of places will also have other stuff you can put in your drink besides tapioca, like fruit jelly, grass jelly, aloe, etc.

I really like matcha milk tea. I've made it myself before but I've also had them at Chinese/Taiwanese restaurants in my area.

Thanks! :)

Very cute, and.. delicious :Q

Is the tapioca recipe available online by any chance?

Yeah! The one I found is here:

(The ingredients list is on the left when you click on the 'supplies' button)

...But I've seen several online. From what I gather it's just tapioca flour and boiling water. Not sure how you get the dark color though :)

Just add chocolate flavoured paste or brown food dye a bit. I think 1/4 tsp of it is enough. Do not use powdered cocoa, they'll lump.

P.S: I love your artwork and matcha bubble tea!
